The Work

Bespoke tableware, designed and produced for each restaurant.

Tableware for Otra

A series of 20 tableware objects for Otra, Bombay.

+4 See all photos

Otra, Bombay is a destination for contemporary Latin American cuisine, a brainchild of Alex Sanchez and Mallyeka Watsa, the creative forces behind Americano. When they invited us to walk alongside a new project, we approached it as a new visual language: different food, different forms, a different side of the same city.

The serveware for Otra is drawn from the visual and form culture of South American pottery: voluptuous, tactile, full of character. We worked across stoneware, wood, glass, stone, and ferrocement, creating forms that are easy to stack, easy to hold, and built for the rhythm of restaurant service.

Tableware for Anjeer

A series of 14 tableware objects for Anjeer, Gurugram.

+4 See all photos

Anjeer is a modern Indian restaurant in Gurugram, conceived by Manish Yadav, a refined reimagining of regional Indian cuisine. The brief called for something rooted in heritage and expressed quietly: serveware drawn from India's architectural vocabulary, present in the room without announcing itself.

Rayden designed 14 objects in stoneware, marble, and glass: shapes inspired by heritage column contours, finished in a palette of terracotta, beige, green, and black. Each piece was built to feel like it had always belonged to the room.

The Rayden approach

A close collaboration.
Object by object.

Drawn from scratch, for your restaurant

Every object begins as a blank page, conceived entirely around your menu, your brand, and the table experience you're building. The form, the weight, the finish: all originate with you.

Specific to the way you serve

The weight of a plate, the lip of a bowl, the height of a glass: every dimension is considered against the dish it will hold and the way your service moves through the room.

Made to last and re-order always

Designed in our Pune studio, made with trusted craftsmen. Every specification is archived and stays available. Re-orders are always within reach, built to the same exacting standard as the first piece.

How it works

A focused process, built around your restaurant.

Three clear stages. Complete transparency at every step, from first conversation to final delivery.

01

We start with your menu and your room.

A conversation, not a brief document. Sometimes a tasting. We want to understand how service moves and what the table should say to the person sitting at it.

02

Every object is drawn from scratch.

Form, weight, glaze, material: all specific to what you're building. We prototype until every object complements the food it holds.

03

Made to perfection. Shipped anywhere.

Designed in our Pune studio and made in partnership with our trusted craftsmen and manufacturers. 10 to 16 weeks from signed brief. Re-orders stay available indefinitely; everything is built to your specification.
